The Yuva Puraskar is also known as Sahitya Akademi Yuva Puraskar award is a literary award which was established in 2011.
Yuva Puraskar award given annually to young writers for outstanding and exemplary literature works in any of 24 Indian languages by National Academy of Letters, Government of India.
Yuva Puraskar award is accompanied with the cash prize of Rs. 50, 000 and Copper plaque. Its aim to encourage and promote young writers.
Assamese Writers winner list of Yuva Puraskar award:
Arindam Borkataki is the first Assamese awardee of Yuva Puraskar award for his Essay “Anusilon” (2011), Kamal Kumar Tanti for his poetry “Marangburu Amar Pita” (2012), and Bijoy Sankar Barman for his poetry “Ashokastami” in 2013.
In 2014, Manika Devee honored for Jahar-Mahar (short story), Mridul Haloi for Akale Aso Kushale Aso (poetry) in 2015, Prartana Saikia for Zantadhari (novel) in 2016, and Pratim Baruah for Xodhahe Nohol Tok O Bokul (poetry) in 2017.
Gujarati Writers winner list of Yuva Puraskar award:
Dhwanil Parekh got Yuva Puraskar award for his play Antim Yuddha in 2011, Jatush Joshi “Pashyantini Pele Paar” in 2012, Ashok Chavda “Dalkhi Thi Saav Chhutan” in 2013, Anil Chavda Savaar Laine in 2014, and Ankit Trivedi Gazal Purvak in 20016 for their poetry.
Rajesh Vankar “Maalo” in 2015 and Raam Mori “Mahotu” for their outstanding work in short stories.
Bengali Writers winner list of Yuva Puraskar award:
Binod Ghosal awarded for Danawola Manus (short stories) in 2011, Sadique Hossain Sammohan in 2012, and Shamik Ghosh - Elvis O Amolasundari in 2017 for short stories.
Subhro Bandopadhyay for Bouddho Lekhomala O Onyanyo Shraman (poetry) in 2013, Abhimanyu Mahato for Mati (Earth) poetry in 2014, Sudip Chakraborty for Premer Size Battrish (poetry) in 2015 and Raka Dasgupta - Aparanha Downtown (poetry) in 2016.

Jaishree Baro from Bodo who got the award for his poetry Jeu Saharani Beduin in 2011, Diganta Lawary for Mijingao Swmkhe Jwmwi (Novel) in 2012, and Sansumwi Khungri Basumatary for Felengni Saogari (Novel) in 2013.
Shanti Basumatary for his poetry Thwinikhruibw Gwjasin Nwngni Gaba (2014), Leben Lal Mwshahary for short stories Khwmsi Harni Alari in 2015.
Bijit Gayari for his poetry Khamflongnai Bubli in 2016 and Bijit Gwra Ramchiary for Gwrbwni Aroj (Poetry) in 2017.
