Important features of White Paper on misgovernance of Akhilesh government
- Yogi Adityanath blames Akhilesh Yadav for ruining state law & order and administration machinery.
- Farmers especially sugar mills and sugarcane farmers did not get correct price for their crop due to previous government policies.
- The White paper blames previous governments for keeping irregularities in the privatization of UP State-owned Sugar Mills. NO steps are taken to revive 10 Out of 11 sugar mills during previous government periods.
- The Three sugar mills that went through bidding process earned only 166.85 Crore instead 291.55 Crores due to the high level of corruption.
- A lot of road project given the green signal but efficient work plan is not carried forward to complete projects on time.
- The benefits of Prime Minister Crop Insurance Scheme not given to UP farmers.
- There were a lot of reports and incidents observed about corruption in UPSC selection.
- Irrigation projects are the live example of delaying projects just to increase cost on these project over time which is another example of the high level of corruption.
- Previous state governments did not take appropriate steps to prevent flood like situations in flood-affected areas that resulted in this year flood tragedy for Yogi Government too.
- White Paper blames illegal links between brokers and government in selling Ration in the market than distributing it to BPL people.
- Hospitals and Medical facilities in government hospitals reached at lowest levels due to corruption and 40% vacant posts in government hospitals along with severe deficiency of essential medicines in hospitals.
- 9000 Crore of money from budget remains used allotted for the welfare of Minority community.
- The white paper also highlights severe economical irregularities in tax collection and unplanned expenditures.
