China Launches Virtual News Anchor for Official News Channel
China's official news agency Xinhua introduced a virtual news anchor (news-reader) to the audience on November 08, 2018.
Xinhua has claimed that the newsreader who reads the news can read the news in the same way as professional newsreaders read the news.
The English-speaking news reader, while presenting his first report, says, "Hello, you are watching the English news program."
