National Committee on Trade Facilitation held for WTO's TFA

 

 

National Committee on Trade Facilitation held for facilitation of World Trade Oragnisation's Trade Facilitation Agreement

The committee joined by Cabinet Secretary P K Sinha and other 24 ministers of civil aviation etc. attended National Committee on Trade Facilitation held at New Delhi.

This meeting was organised to lay down the ways for the implementation of the agreement of World Trade Organisation.

The Trade Facilitation Agreement of WTO states the provisions for advancing the movement, clearance and release of goods which includes goods in transit

It also contains the measures to be taken for effectual cooperation between customs and custom compliance issues.

National Committee on Trade Facilitation is a national body to facilitate co-operation with TFA provisions.

NCTF also aims at providing the roadmap for the facilitations of TFA.

A national committee will be formed for the implementation and checking of TFA.
