The war between the Indian government and the instant messaging app Whatsapp is in progress. This is because of how to deal with Fake News. Under the agreement with the government, the company owned by Facebook has finally appointed Grievance Officer (Complaint Settlement Officer) in India. Whatsapp Inc. in India Komal Lahiri, Senior Director of Global Customer Operations and Localization, has been appointed as Grievance Officer.
