Washington Sundar is an emerging young super talent of India National Cricket Team. He attained his position as an ‘All Rounder’ player in the Indian International Cricket Team Squad.
Washington Sundar currently is playing as a ‘Right-Arm Off-Break Bowler’ and ‘Left-Handed Batsman’ for the Senior Indian National Cricket Team.
Washington Sundar was born on 5th October 1999 to a Hindu lower-middle-class family in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. His father M. Sundar was a Ranji level cricket player. He has a brother and a sister named Shailja. Shailja is also an inspiring Indian women cricket player.
Washington Sundar at present studies in class 12th in St. Bede’s School, Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
Washington Sundar was inspired & motivated by his father, who always dreamt his son to play for the nation. His father had a Godfather named ‘PD Washington’ who used to pay his fees and buy him bats. This is how; Washington Sundar got his name kept, as a tribute to his fathers’ Godfather.
Washington Sundar took his cricket training under the coach named M. Senthilnathan in Chennai.
