Vodafone Sakhi for Vodafone Users Features, Registration, Recharge

 

 

Vodafone-Idea smartphone service Vodafone Sakhi features, Women Safety, Able to send alerts to 10 people without internet or balance, Registration 

Vodafone-Idea, the leading telecom service provider in India, introduced 'Vodafone Sakhi', a women's safety-based service. The company says that women using Vodafone numbers can use this service for free, through this initiative, some special services have been provided to them.

The famous badminton player PV Sindhu inaugurated the 'Ab Ruke Kyun' campaign while starting this service. This service will be available free of charge both on the feature and smartphones.

Under this service, women will be able to send alerts to ten people without internet and balance in times of crisis. Alert will also find the location of women with the associated people. For this, they will have to call only one number 5500. In addition to these circumstances, even if the phone does not have balance, they will be able to talk for ten minutes.

To recharge, women will not need to specify their mobile number at retail stores.

A 10-digit proxy number will be provided to women adopting the service, through which they will be able to recharge themselves. Women using Vodafone numbers can start this service by calling the consumer toll free number 1800123100.

According to a statement released by Vodafone, India has more than one billion mobile connections and more than half of the country's population is women's population. Even then, there are less than 18 percent female subscribers in the country. Apart from this, most women use feature phones or basic mobile phones. This interval in the use of mobile phones is strained by the empowerment of women, which has been tried to be reduced by this initiative.
