The Uttar Pradesh (UP) Cabinet has approved digitalization of land maps in 70 districts of the state on 9 October 2017.
The cabinet in a meeting presided by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Aditya Nath gave a nod to digitalization of land maps in 70 districts of the state.
The Cabinet approved an initial Corpus of Rs 5.21 crore for the digitization works.
The map will be available online and will help in checking malpractices in a big way which will be of a great help to the farmers and others in the state.
The cabinet has also decided on one-time settlement of non-performing loan of farmers with the cooperative bank.
