Uttar Pradesh Government led by CM Yogi Adityanath presented their second annual Budget: 2018-19 for the UP state on 16th February 2018 in Legislative Assembly, Lucknow.
UP Finance Minister Rajesh Agarwal unveiled the Budget: 2018-19, with the total allocation of Rs 4,28,384.52 crores.
FM Rajesh Agarwal informed that the amount has been increased by 11.4% as compared to last year (2017). He said no other government in UP had set that landmark before.
FM Rajesh Agarwal further added as the UP government had allocated Rs 3.84 lakh crore in 2017, the funds this year has been increased with new schemes worth Rs 14,341.89 crore.
The UP government proposed that 75% of the total expenditure will be revenue expenditure and the rest will be capital expenditure.
CM Yogi Adityanath proclaimed that the UP Budget: 2018-19 is a good budget, considering fiscal discipline it will focus on Electrification, Women Empowerment, Farmers, Minorities, Youths and Infrastructure Development.
