United Nations: India has been elected for three years terms at PCCC, GEWES, WFP

 

 

India has been elected for a three-year term starting from Jan 1, 2022, in the Prevention of Crime and Criminal Commission (PCCC), Gender Equality and Woman Empowerment Society (GEWES), and World Food Program (WFP)

United Nations, 21 April 2021, India has been elected in three bodies of the United Nations Economic and Social Council.

India has been elected for a three-year term starting from January 1, 2022, in the Prevention of Crime and Criminal Commission with oral approval.

India was also elected by approval for a three-year term on the executive board of the United Nations Gender Equality and Women Empowerment Society.

Apart from this, India was also elected on the Executive Board of the World Food Program. His term will start on January 1, 2022. France, Ghana, the Republic of Korea, Russia, and Sweden were also elected by approval in this board.
