The United Nations Public Service Day (UNPSF) is celebrated every year on 23rd June around the world by the UnitedNations (UN).
The United Nations Public Service Day (UNPSF) aims to mark the invaluable contributions of public servants and administrators to build a better world for all.
The United Nations Public Service Day (UNPSF) also seeks to recognize the work of public servants and encourage young people to pursue careers in the public sector.
On the United Nations Public Service Day occasion, the UN will hold a Public Service Awards ceremony to reward the creative achievements and contributions of public service institutions worldwide.

The United Nations Public Service Day was instituted by the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) by passing resolution 57/277 on 20th December 2002. Since then it is observed to encourage member states to organize special events on that day to highlight the contribution of public service in the development process.
