United Nation: 3 Lakhs Dollar donated by India for Peacekeeping to UN (United Nations Peacekeeping Forces)

United Nation is an organization which promotes the cooperation between all the countries and take the initiative to maintain the coordination between the countries. This organization was established on 24 oct 1945 after the world war 2 so that such conflict never happen again.

Headquarter of UN is in Manhattan, New York City and its relationship to outside the country territory other office is situated in Geneva, Nairobi, and Vienna. UN is one of the most powerful organizations which has the support and cooperation of all the countries and work socially for all the country. Basically, it is for World Unity.

It mainly consists of 6 principles that our General Assembly, Security Council, Secretariat, International court of justice, Economic and social council and Specialized agency.

It basically works on human rights, peacemaking, economic development, etc.  For the purpose of peacemaking, India took the initiative and donated $3 lakhs. It is a good step and The UN Department of Field Support announced that the Indian government donated the amount for the pipeline to peacekeeping command programme with the aim of discipline over a period of three years.

Indias Permanent Representative at the UN is Syed Akbaruddin.
