Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi on 23rd May 2018, has given its approval to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between India and France.
India and France, MoU was signed in the field of Renewable Energy on 10th March 2018 in New Delhi.
The MoU signed with the main aim to identify research/ demonstration/ pilot project between National Institute of Solar Energy (NISE), India and Commissariat aI'EnergieAtomique et aux Energies Alternatives (CEA), France in the mutually identified areas.
Under the MoU, India-France would work for implementation & deployment of the pilot project in ISA member countries based on mutual agreement.
Under the MoU, India-France will show collaborations in several joint Research and Technology projects, joint R&D and joint workshops.
India-France, MoU will also help in strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two countries. It also aims to exchange of expertise and networking of information.
