Amravati: Thermal Battery Plant Capacity, Energy Storage, Features, Mechanism

The world's first thermal battery plant, operated by Bharat Storage Technology Private Limited (BEST), was started in Amravati, Andhra Pradesh

The purpose of this plant is to create new energy storage systems, another objective is to reduce low carbon emissions and the ability to work in every season.

This plant will start working from May 2019. India is thinking of preparing a 1000 MW battery for the storage technology Pvt. The plant capacity is estimated to be 10 gigawatts by 2025.

The thermal battery is based on alternative sources of energy production, and its presence is expected to reduce dependence on fossil fuels. This plant is capable of providing energy solutions for the power grid, transport, and telecommunications services.

The thermal battery uses the thermal energy to operate the energy. This helps store energy transfer heat in the battery and it travels to the other part of the heat battery.

If the heat of the thermal battery gets heat then it changes physically or chemically, by which energy is stored, while the source cools.

During the working time, the sink gets cold so it releases the combined energy. When the source receives heat, the system can receive heat from any source. The thermal battery can work up to power transmission until the heat source is present.
