HRD Ministry launches LEAP and ARPIT programs

 

 

The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) launches faculty development programmes - LEAP & ARPIT

The Ministry of Human Resource Development has launched two new programs under the name of the Envato Referrers Program in Teaching and Leap (Leadership for Academician Program) for bringing quality in higher education.

State Human Resource Development Minister Satyapal Singh launches both of these programs.

Under this, teachers teaching in higher educational institutions will be updated with new information related to their subjects.

Also, the talent of leadership will also be developed.

In this training program prepared on the initiative of the Human Resource Development Ministry, from the Vice Chancellors of the University, teachers and teachers of higher education institutions have been included.

At present, about 15 lakh teachers are teaching in higher education institutions across the country.

It is a Leading Leadership Development Training Program for three weeks (two weeks of domestic and one-week foreign training) for the people of a second level academic field in government high institutions.

Its aim is to prepare second-level academic heads to take the leadership role in the future.

The Annual Refresher Program in Teaching (ARPIT) is a major initiative for the online professional development of 1.5 million higher education faculty using the self-employed MOOC platform.
