Prime Minister Narendra Modi admits taxpayers charter as a great step in the journey of the development of the country.
According to PM Narendra Modi, taxpayer charter is a step to make a balance between taxpayers' rights and duties towards the nation. There are very few countries in the world that provide such a level of respect and security to the honest taxpayers of their nation, Now India is also getting in the same list.
The income tax department now believes in taxpayers. If there is any sort of doubt the taxpayer is now equipped with rights to apply for review. The taxpayer charter expects some things from the taxpayer too.
According to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Paying the tax and tax collection by governments is not duties but responsibility for both. Tax to be paid to governments as it runs the system and country can become more responsible for a bigger population of the nation, as well as the taxpayer also gets better facilities and infrastructure.
Now the taxpayer has got facilities and security under new taxpayer charter, so more awareness about reforms getting expected.
