The Versatile actor and playwright Girish Karnad will be honored with Tata Literature Live! Lifetime Achievement Award 2017. Girish Karnad will receive the award as a playwright.
The award will be present to Girish Karnad at the literature festivals annual awards ceremony, which will be held on 19 November at the National Centre for the Performing arts (NCPA) Nariman Point in Mumbai.
Tata Literature Live! Lifetime Achievement Award which honors distinguished writers in India will be held from 16-19 November 2017 in Mumbai.
Previously, versatile actor Girish Karnad also a proud recipient of Padma Shri Award in 1974 and Padma Bhushan award in 1992 for literature.
