The Statue of Unity is a monument under construction dedicated to Indian independence movement leader Vallabhbhai Patel located in Gujarat.
The Statue of Unity will be the tallest in the world. The Statue of Unity which will be 182 meters tall, was announced by Narendra Modi in 2013 when he was the Chief Minister of Gujarat. It will be erected at 240 m from the river base of Narmada.
