SBI Life Insurance Company Limited has appointed Sanjeev Nautiyal as its new Managing Director and CEO on 3rd April 2018.
Sanjeev Nautiyal had replaced Arijit Basu, who takes over a key role in the State Bank of India Group.
Sanjeev Nautiyal completed graduation in Arts and Masters in Business Administration. He started his career with State Bank of India in 1985 as a probationary officer in SBI Lucknow Branch.
Sanjeev Nautiyal is a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers (C.A.I.I.B).
Sanjeev Nautiyal has glorified career of over 32 years, he had held various important roles and responsibilities in fields like credit, human resources, and international banking.
Sanjeev Nautiyal had headed full commercial branch Bahrain and was also the regional head of Middle East operations of the bank operating from Bahrain.
Sanjeev Nautiyal serves as Ex-Officio Chief General Manager of Ahmedabad at State Bank of India. Mr. Nautiyal served as Chief Operating Officer of Full Commercial Branch and Head of Full Commercial Branch at State Bank of India since March 28, 2009.
Sanjeev Nautiyal after his appointment said that SBI Life will reach out to millions of Indian families to provide them insurance products that fulfill their needs for risk cover. It will continue to robustly boost and build on the trust which its parent SBI has created, nurtured and upheld with hundreds of millions of Indians.
