Stan Lee passes away at age of 95

 

 

American comic book writer and Marvel co-creator Stan Lee passed away at the age of 95

Stan Lee was born on 28 December writer, editor, producer, and publisher.

Stan Lee was Editor in chief of Marvel Comics.

Stanlee co-created fictional characters including Spiderman, The Hulk, Doctor Strange and Fantastic Four, etc with the collaboration of several artist Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko.

He created characters Ant-Man, Iron Man and Thor with the help of his brother Larry Lieber.

In 1960 he pioneered a more complex approach to writing Superheroes.

In the 1970s he challenged the standards of the comic code authority.

When he retired from Marvel he remained public figurehead for the company and then make cameo appearances in movies based on Marvel characte3rs.

Stanlee continued the independent creative journey into his 90s until his death in 2018.

Lastly, he was involved in comic book industry's Will Eisner Award Hall of Fame in 1994 and another Jack Kirby Hall of Fame in 1995 and received National Medal of Arts in 2008.
