Asia’s Largest Tulip Garden of Srinagar Opened for Public from 25th March 2018- Details, Highlights, Schedules

Asia’s largest Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden of J&K’s Srinagar is now open for the public visits from 25th March 2018.

The Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden, earlier known as Model Floriculture Center, is the largest tulip garden in Asia spread over an area of about 30 hectares.

The Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden situated in the foothills of the Zabarwan Mountains by the banks of the Dal Lake in Srinagar.

The Tulip Garden Festival-2018, public visiting timings will be between 9:00 am and 7.00 pm and the entry fees would be Rs 25 for children and Rs 50 for adults.

The Tulip Garden’s Festival-2018 will adorn attraction of varieties of plant flowers like Tulip, Daffodils, Hyacinths, Narcissus and other ornamental plants this year with over 12 lakh flowers to blossom. This year Tulip Garden will witness over 1.5 lakh visitors.

In Tulip Garden Festival-2018, visitors will also avail the benefits of added facilities like free Wi-Fi, Increased Fountains, Washrooms (separate for the disabled persons) and many Drinking points. The water channel running through the terraces will add extra charm to the garden.

The Tulip Garden Festival-2018 is set to blossom bed of different varieties of Tulips such as Standard Tulips, Double Bloom Tulips, Parrot Tulips, Fringed Tulips, Bi-Color Standard Tulips, Rembrandt, Fosteriana Tulips, Lily, Single Late Tulips and Triumph Tulips among others.
