Sports infrastructure now inclusive in infrastructure sub sector
Sports sector to get financial support as of other infrastructure sector
Ministry of youth affairs have requested the union cabinet to include the sports sector infrastructure in the list.
The union ministry has proposed to include the sports infrastructure for sports related activities like sports stadia and infrastructure relating to research and training in the infrastructure sub-sector list.
Private investors to invest in sports infrastructure
The financial support will be given by the banks and other financial institutions to the sports sector unlike other infrastructure projects.
The main aim of this sport infrastructure is to promote health and fitness of the people.
The private investors can also invest in the sport sector for public goods.
This will also create more employment opportunities in the country.
The investments in the country would strengthen leading to a rise in the economic condition.
