A New underground water treatment plan inaugurated at Sadhutilla in the Southern part of Agartala (Tripura) with the support of the urban Development 23 September 2017.
The plan designed for treating underground water collected through six deep tube well of Sadhutilla Locality.
The long cherished aspiration of people of drinking water that is free water from iron and other contamination.
* Treatment capacity of this plan has 4.8 million liters per day, which will supply potable water to 2500 connections at Households, schools, market and institutions of 13 small residential settlement.
* The plan has two over Head Storage Reservoirs with capacities of 1,130 kilolitres and 450-kilolitre.
* The plan will supply treated water to 565 households through the pipeline.
* The Plan would be treading water at the higher standard with minimizing turbidity and iron in water much below the permissible level.
* It also has the provision for recycling sludge water and rainwater harvesting.
