It is premium, international, non-professional tournament for the games of English billiards, this event has been approved by International Billiards and Snooker Federation from 1973.
When the first time this event was organized the event was called Empire Billiards Championship. After many years of discussion the world billiard & snooker federation was formed and then the name was changed to international billiards and snooker federation
