The second edition of India's biggest IndiaSkills 2018, India’s biggest skill competition, was conducted in New Delhi. It was a five-day event held from 2nd October 2018 to 6th October 2018.
The IndiaSkills-2018 competition was organized by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship. It aimed to identify, promote and reward the best talents in different skills.
The IndiaSkills-2018 competition saw the participation of about 450 participants, 46 competition trades and 10 demonstration trades participated.
The IndiaSkills-2018 competition winners were awarded by Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Anantkumar Hegde and Subhash Ghai, Chairman of Media and Entertainment Skills Council and India Film Director.
The IndiaSkills-2018 competition selected winners will be given with more training and will be sent to represent India at the 45th WorldSkills Competition at Kazan, Russia in 2019.
The IndiaSkills-2018 competition also saw the participation of persons with disabilities. These winners will participate at the World level competition in Abilympics in China.
