The government of Maharashtra has launched a skill development programme for the students ‘Kaushalya Setu’.
This programme was launched by the Chief Minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadanvis and Union Minister of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Rajiv Pratap Rudy.
The students of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher secondary Education who failed in class 10 and 12 would be assisted in skill development courses.
These scheme will increase the Central Government’s Skill India Mission by 2020 as the skill development programme will be provided to them.
The main aim of this programme is to provide compensation of loss of one year to the students who have failed in their high school and SSC exam by providing skill oriented training.
Under this scheme, no student will sit at home after failing the exam, will be provided skill development training.
