Singapore to New York: World Longest flight for 19 Hrs Features, Class Fare, Details
Worlds longest flight Airbus A350-900ULR took off from Singapore to New York from Changi airport, Singapore on 11th October 2018.
The flight will cover the distance of 16700Km in approximately 19 hours. Singapore Airlines is the first to start this kind of Airbus A350-900ULR service for their passengers.
Total 161 passengers will travel in which 67 of business class and 94 are premium economy class seats for passengers.
In this flight, there will be two pilots, one special wellness menu and TV and entertainment related features are available. Airlines have taken care of the crew member as well, total 13 crew member will be there in the flight. Pilots can take rest of 8 hours during the journey.
If weather conditions are good it will take 18 hours 45 minutes to complete the journey. Before this flight, the record had been registered for Auckland to Doha for 17 hours 40 minutes journey.
