Silk Production through Silkworm History, Process of getting silk yarn from Koya (Cocoon) Silkworm

The silkworm is also known as Bombyx Mori ('silkworm of a mulberry tree' in Latin). It is also its biological scientific name. This insect produces silk.

Silk is cultivated in China since ancient times and has been traded worldwide since then. Let's study about silk pests through this article, how this worm makes silk.

The silk pest survives only for two or three days and the most unique thing is that in the same time, after every sexual intercourse, every female pest insulates the 300-400 eggs on the leaves of the martyr. In every 10 days, every egg produces a small female insect larva (Caterpillar). Then in approximately 30 to 40 days, as a result of active growth, the larva is long and then becomes sloppy and the circle becomes magnified.

Three days continuously shaking his head around it, it creates a single thread of the same long thread, which is called Koya or cocoon, by the substances which are dried by its four organs and glands.

Before getting out of the full kit to get the silk, put the Koya in boiling water and kill the whole Koya within itself and separate thread. Thus silk kit produces silk and after this silk yarn is made of cloth, etc. goods are manufactured.
