Sagarmala Project Programme list for port modernization, port connectivity enhancement and port development
Under Sagarmala Programme, 415 projects, at an estimated investment of approximately Rs 8 Lac Crore, have been identified across port modernization & new port development.
Also port connectivity enhancement, port-linked industrialization and coastal community development for phase wise implementation over the period 2015 to 2015.
As per the approved implementation plan of Sagarmala Programme, these projects are to be taken up by the relevant Central Ministries/Agencies and state Governments preferably through private/PPP mode.
There are 189 projects worth Rs 142, 828 under the theme of Port Modernization, 170 projects worth Rs 230,576 of the theme of Connectivity Enhancement.
There are 33 projects worth Rs 420,881 of the theme of Portal-Linked Industrialization and 23 project worth Rs 4,216 of the theme of Coastal Community Development.
