The Reserve Bank of India will issue the sixth tranche under the sovereign gold bond scheme starting from 24th October to 2nd November.
These gold bonds will be issues at the yearly interest of 2.5% and issue price will be Rs.50 gram less than the nominal value.
The tenure will be of eight years and the exit option will be implemented after five years on the interest payment dates.
The minimum permissible investment will be gram of gold and maximum is 500g per person during this financial year and in case of concluding limit will apply to only the first applicant.
These bonds is issued at discounted rates to attract more customers as last trench yield amount Rs.3,060 crore.
