President Ram Nath Kovind is on a three-nation official state visit to African countries of Equatorial Guinea, Swaziland and Zambia from 7th April 2018 to 12th April 2018.
Indian President visit to Zambia will take place after 29 years and It is also the first-ever visit by any head of state of India to Equatorial Guinea and Swaziland.
President Ram Nath Kovind on his first leg of his visit to Equatorial Guinea held delegation-level talks between President of India and Equatorial Guinea President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo on 8th April 2018 at Malabo, Equatorial Guinea.
India and Equatorial Guinea on the occasion signed four agreements in the field of Agriculture, Mining, Health & Medicine, Telecommunications and IT.
India and Equatorial Guinea have shown agreement to work together at UN, where Equatorial Guinea has just begun a two-year term on the Security Council. Both the countries reviewed the entire gamut of bilateral ties between the two countries.
