Qazi Abdusttar was Urdu novelist born on 8 February 1933 at Machreta near Sitapur.
Qazi Abdusttar also used to write short stories. we lost him on 29 oct 2018 in New Delhi.
Qazi Abdusttar writes many of the Urdu novels that are mainly set in historical context including Salahuddin Ayyubi, Khaleed ibn-e-Waleed, Ghaleeb, Shab Ghazi, etc.
Qazi Abdusttar writes in his own way and has its own point of work.
Qazi Abdusttar worked as Urdu Professor at Aligarh Muslim University and got his retirement in 1991.
At the age of 41, he was awardee in Urdu literature and also the youngest one to achieve Padma Shree.
Qazi Abdusttar writes his books that are Shikhar ki Awaz, shab ghazi, Baadal, Majju Bhaiya, etc.
Along with Padmashree, he received many of the awards for example first Ghalib award, Meer Award, up Urdu academy award, etc.
On his death whole, Urdu world was sad and many important personalities conveyed condolence message. prof Tariq Mansoor, vice chancellor, AMU deeply mourn on his death for them it was the biggest loss for their university. They also do condolence meeting in Urdu department.
