Pusarla Venkata Sindhu started playing badminton at the age of fifteen and her first recognition is in the form of 5th Servo All India ranking championship for under 10-category.

PV Sindhu has been featured among the top 10 World Badminton Ranking in 2014.

PV Sindhu hounoured with fourth highest civilian award, Padma Shri award in the year 2015

In the year 2014, PV Sindhu bags FICCI Breakthrough Sportsperson and NDTV Indian of the year.

Indian Badminton Player PV Sindhu also received Rajiv Gandhi Khel ratna Award in 2016.

PV Sindhu made history by becoming the first Indian to win two back-to back- world Championship medals.

PV Sindhu also won Bronze Medal in Uber Cup 2014 held in New Delhi.

PV Sindhu also won bronze medal in Sub-Junior Asian Badminton Championship in Columbo.
