Vigilance Week starts today 31st October 2016, promoting public life and prevent corruption
The Vigilance week observed on the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhai Patel on 31st October 2016.
The main aim of setting this Vigilance week is to promote decency in public life and to achieve corruption free society.
Theme for vigilance week is Public Participation in promoting integrity and eradicating corruption
The theme for this year Vigilance Awareness week is ‘Public Participation in promoting integrity and eradicating corruption’.
The public servants of different departments, ministries, Public Sector Banks etc. will take the oath to eradicate corruption from the society.
The commission has also visualized Integrity Pledge for conscripting support and commitment of the citizens, firms etc. to prevent and fight against corruption.
The central ides of this awareness program is to promote awareness of public life among the people and help them to fight against corruption.
This week promotes integrity, simplicity and responsibility of common people.
