The Iron Man of India, Sardar Vallabhai Patel devoted his life for the unity of India.
A day which has been celebrated as the birth anniversary on one side and at the same day death anniversary of Indira Gandhi
Narendra Modi flags off on 139th birth anniversary of the first home minister of the country as ‘Rashtriya Ekta Diwas’.
Modi stated that Patel never strayed his vision from national unity despite of facing obstacles in his political life.
PM also stated that it is the misfortune of the country that 30 years ago which was the birth anniversary of such a leader an incident took place which agitated the unity of the nation.
