13th President of India Bharat Ratna Pranab Mukherjee dies in a coma after brain surgery at RR Hospital
Ex-President of India Pranab Mukherjee (Dec 11, 1935, to Aug 31, 2020) took his last breathe at RR hospital today in a coma condition after brain surgery. His elder son Abhijit Mukherjee tweeted about the demise of his father in the evening at 17:46 on Monday, 31st August 2020.
Pranab Mukherjee was the 13th President of India followed by present President Ram Nath Kovind.
Bharat Ratna Pranab Mukherjee was bedridden for a long time. And he slept into a coma after recent brain surgery. Pranab Mukherjee was 84 years.
Late Pranab Mukherjee served at various posts in the Indian government including the top post of the President of India. He was also known for his books including "The Dramatic Decade: Indira Gandhi Years" in 2014.
Indian Defence Minister Raj Nath Singh tweeted his condolences on the demise of the ex-president of India Pranab Mukherjee.
