The healthcare scheme, Ayushman Bharat - Prime Minister Jan Arogya Yojana, world's biggest healthcare scheme is being named 'Modi Care' on the lines of 'Obama Care'.
Under this scheme, cashless health insurance will be provided to 10 million poor households up to Rs 5 lakh. That is, about 500 million people will be in its realm. It is believed that this plan will bring a reduction of 32% in the amount of money spent on the person's ability in any disease.

In this financial year, the government will spend about Rs. 5000 crores under this scheme. By the next year, when the scheme becomes effective throughout India, then this expenditure will reach up to 10 thousand crore rupees. Of this, 60 percent will be from the Center, while 40 percent of the rest will be raised from the Center.
There are also some concerns related to the world's largest healthcare scheme. It is said that India is already spending less in the health sector. In such a situation, a major portion of the health budget will move towards the direction of Ayushman India and there will be pressure on the primary care sector.
