Yoga guru Baba Ramdev's Patanjali after capturing position in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) Sector and winning the trust of millions in India has now entered into Telecom Sector too.
Baba Ramdev has launched Patanjali ‘Swadeshi Samriddhi’ mobile SIM cards, in collaboration with Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL).
Currently, at its first phase, only the Patanjali employees and office bearers will be able to avail the benefits of the SIM card.
After its full-fledged launch, common people will get discount of 10 % on Patanjali products with this SIM card.
After recharging ‘Swadeshi Samriddhi’ SIM card with Rs 144, one will be able to make unlimited calls across India and can avail 2 GB internet data pack with 100 SMSs per month.
Apart from this, Patanjali ‘Swadeshi Samriddhi’ SIM card users will also get medical and life insurances of Rs 2.5 lakh and Rs 5 lakh, respectively only in case of road accidents.
Baba Ramdev on the launch occasion proclaimed that government-owned BSNL is a 'Swadeshi network' and the motive of both Patanjali and BSNL is the welfare of the nation and its countrymen.
Baba Ramdev also informed there are five lakh counters of BSNL from were people can soon get Patanjali ‘Swadeshi-Samriddhi’ SIM card.
