Narendra Modi denies to attend SAARC summit, leaving Pak alone

 

 

In wake of Uri attack PM Narendra Modi denies to join Pakistan in proposed SAARC meeting in November 2016, Other nations Bangladesh, Srilanka, Afghanistan join Narendra Modi to not go for meeting 

After surgical strikes, Pakistan does not want to hold a SAARC summit 

Pakistan has postponed the SAARC summit which was scheduled in Islamabad on November 9 or 10.

India, Afghanistan Bhutan and two other countries have conveyed to the SAARC Secretariat that would not be attending the summit and as a result an absence of any one country would lead to postponement or cancellation of the summit.

SAARC summit get canceled following continuous effort on terror in Indian soil from Pakistan 

SAARC mainly consists of seven member countries which are India, Bhutan, Nepal, Maldives, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka but later on Afghanistan also joined.

SAARC encompasses of 3% of world’s area, 21% of world’s population and 9.12% of global economy.

It was established on 8th December 1985 in Dhaka and its headquarters are in Kathmandu.

The main motive of SAARC is to incorporate economical and regional integration.
