In a program held in Rajasthan on September 23, 2018, by Union Human Resource Development Minister Prakash Javadekar, it was announced that nationwide efforts have been initiated to digitize the classrooms.
Under the 'Operation Digital Board', Central Human Resource Development Minister Prakash Javadekar, 15 million classes up to Ninth to Post Graduate will be given Digital Class form. This will improve the quality of education and will result in total change.
Under the Operation Digital Board, all schools will now have white blackboards. This plan will be fully implemented in five years. This will help in improving the quality of education in the country.
This scheme will be implemented by the Central State and the citizen community and corporate social responsibility. Efforts will also be made to reduce the cost of the digital board. Maharashtra civic community has collected Rs. 300 crores for schools in six districts. This venture has been started in all the states.
Earlier, Operation Blackboard was launched in India, which was started in 1987. The objective of this scheme is to provide the necessary institutional equipment and materials for the convenience of children studying in primary school.
In this scheme, there is a provision for salary for additional teachers in schools where more than 100 nominations have been received for two consecutive years. This scheme was implemented during the Ninth Five Year Plan.
