Japan's Okinawa is the healthiest place in the world. Okinawa, centenarian ratios may be the world's highest at approximately 50 per 100,000 population representing 740 centenarians in a population of 1.3 million of which 90% are women. The average age of men's is 78 and women's are 84.
Japan's Okinawa people once they passed the age of 65 men's are expected to live till 84 and women's will till 90 years. Okinawa people are more centenarians than anywhere else in Japan.
Okinawans people have a low risk of stomach cancer, arteriosclerosis, and prostate cancer. Their long living secret is their food. They eat serving fish three times during a week, plenty of whole grains, vegetables, and soy products.
They eat tofu and konbu seaweed most compare to anyone else in the world. They also eat octopus which lower downs body cholesterol and lower down the blood pressure.
This increase in the number of centenarians worldwide is mainly due to larger and healthier birth cohorts who have had access to better medical care, public health infrastructure, housing, income, and nutrition than previous cohorts.
