Finance Ministry: 10 Major decisions taken for GST after note ban

 

 

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley speaks on the current position after demonetisation, note ban 

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley speaks on 29th General Annual Meeting of FCCI that Government is working overtime to ensure that things return to normal after demonetisation.

Finance Minister stated that long term benefits are very clear even if we have to bear short term inconveniences.

Arun Jaitley expresses that India was known as Fragile 5 few years back

FM Arun Jaitley stated that after passing the constitutional amendments there are several decisions that need to take by GST Council.

Finance Minister stated that the legislations that have to be passed by the Parliament under Constitutional amendment and state legislatures are currently in process of being drafted.

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley speaks that there are 10 important decisions that has already been taken regarding GST.

Speaking on GST, Arun Jaitley stated that GST should start from 1st April 2017 and the constitutional necessity for it to come into force is between 1st April to 16th September 2017.
