NITI Aayog in collaboration with Vision India Foundation has organised the ‘Venture Capital Symposium-2018’ event, in order to strengthen the economic relationships between India and France.
The Venture Capital Symposium-2018 was a three-day event scheduled to be organised from 18th May to 20th May 2018.
The Venture Capital Symposium-2018 witnessed the French investor’s interaction with 100 early to mid-stage Indian start-ups.
NITI Aayog, CEO, Amitabh Kant along with DIPP, Additional Secretary, Atul Chaturvedi addressed the inaugural day of the Symposium and was attended by Ambassador of France to India Alexandre Ziegler and Vice-President of French Parliament, Yves Jego.
The Venture Capital Symposium-2018 showed the participation of several France investors including Safran Ventures, Eren Group, Luxury Tech, Fashion Capital, Educlever, Olymp Capital, Affectio Familiae, Brands and beyond, Galileo Partners, Winevestworld, TNP, Claranova among others.
The Venture Capital Symposium-2018 facilitated interactions between French investors, Indian investors, Indian start-ups and critical government functionaries. The French investors also explored the investment landscape as well as the socio-cultural richness of India.
The Venture Capital Symposium-2018 aimed at support the Start-up India programme that was launched by PM Narendra Modi.
