New Delhi: New Forecast System Launching, information of Central Pollution Control Board(CPCB), Grade-Response Action Plan (GRAP) and feature

Due to burning by the farmers in Punjab and Haryana, the danger of the air quality of Delhi-NCR has been worsened. On the other hand, marathon efforts have begun to keep the Delhi-NCR air-tight in the cold. The Center has launched a new Forecast System predicting the quality of air.

This system can predict how the air will remain in the next 3 days. Apart from Delhi, an air of Gurujram, Ghaziabad and Rohtak will also be checked.

This new service will help people to deal with the situation of poor air, but agencies will also be able to take steps before issuing problems and issuing warnings. This system, predicting 3-day air quality, is based on real-time data.

Using data from different satellites and other sources, it gives information about substances such as dust, SO2, NO2, PM2.5 and PM10 in the air. SP Singh Parihar, Chairman of the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) said that people can go to the media corner of the CPCB website and get the air quality information for the next three days.

An emergency plan, the Grade-Response Action Plan (GRAP), has been implemented on Monday for dealing with air pollution in Delhi-NCR. This will include cleaning of roads from machines and deployment of traffic police for smooth movement of vehicles in crowded areas of this area.
