NCDEX– MD & CEO Vijay Kumar Venkataraman Appointment, Education, Experiences
Vijay Kumar Venkataraman got approved as the new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) by Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) on 16th January 2018.
Vijay Kumar, on 18th January 2018 took charge as the new MD & CEO of Agri-commodity exchange NCDEX, for the period of next three years, succeeding Samir Shah.
Vijay Kumar did Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (B.Tech) from IIT Madras and later, MBA from Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi.
Vijay Kumar an agro-industry veteran has professional expertise of over 25 years in the areas of Commodity Trading and Merchandising along with Risk Management, Logistics and Operations.
Vijay Kumar has worked for companies like National Bulk Handling Corporation, Cargill, Reliance Industries, Arthur Andersen, ITC Ltd, Britannia and Sharp Group.
Vijay Kumar had also been associated with NCDEX as Chief Business Officer (June 2009 to September 2014).
