National Testing Agency Objective, Role in Examination, Education, Coaching, Entrance

 

 

CBSE - National Testing Agency (NTA) is an autonomous and self-sustained testing organization to conduct entrance examinations for higher education

National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the exams which were conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

The Government has mandated the National Testing Agency (NTA) to conduct the examination in a scientific manner involving experts. All the examinations of NTA were mandated to be conducted twice a year for the benefit of students.

National Testing Agency (NTA) will start its operations with the Joint Engineering Entrance (JEE) and National Eligibility and Entrance Test  for admissions to medical/ dental programmes from 2019

National Testing Agency (NTA) will relieve CBSE, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and other agencies from responsibility of conducting various entrance examinations such as JEE, NEET, UGC’s National Eligibility Test (twice a year),Central Teacher Eligibility Test (twice a year) and the entrance test for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas.

Under the National Testing Agency (NTA) the entrance examinations will be conducted in online mode at least twice a year.

National Testing Agency (NTA) will be chaired by an eminent educationist. The CEO will be the director general, who will be appointed by the government.
