Special Secretary NITI Aayog, Yudhvir Singh Malik appointed as Chairman of National Highway Authority of India
The special Secretary of NITI Aayog, Yudhvir Singh Malik is appointed as the Chairman of National Highway Authority of India (NHAI).
Yudhvir Singh joined NITI Aayog last year in September prior to this he was the CEO of FSSAI.
National Highway Authority of India is entrusted with the task for implementing National Highways Development Project (NHDP) which is India’s largest-ever highway project.
National highway Authority of India regulates 92,851 km of National highways across the country
National Highway Authority of India is established through National Highway Authority of India Act, 1988 and in February it was made an autonomous body.
It is the nodal agency of Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways which is responsible for the development, management, operation and management of National Highways.
