International Day of the Girl Child is celebrated every year on 11 October across the world to recognize girls’ rights and unique challenges faced by girls around the globe.
International Day of the Girl Child observance aims to increase awareness of gender inequality faced by girls worldwide based upon their gender and supports more opportunities for girls.
