India celebrates National Constitution Day which is officially the second constitution Day in history.
In the year 2015, it was officially declared to celebrate 26th November as National Constitution Day to spread awareness of the rights and duties of the citizens of India.
In the year 1949, on this day Indian Constitution drafted by B. R. Ambedkar was approved.
National Constitution day will also mark the birth anniversary of Bhimrao Ambedkar and nationwide events takes place.
The constitution is a legal document which describes the rights and duties of the citizens of India which has nearly 400 articles or provisions.
The constitution of India also signifies the powers of the legislature, the executive and the judiciary.
This day was earlier celebrated as National Law Day but Prime Minister Narendra Modi officially declared to celebrate this day as National Constitution day.
