Veteran NASA Astronaut John Grunsfeld and solar experts to hold a meeting on 25th October at 1 p.m. which will stream online on agency's website and NASA Television.
This discussion will take place at National Air and Space Museum’s moving beyond the Earth gallery at 6th street and Independence Avenue in Washington.
This event will also be celebrated as 11th anniversary of NASA's two solar Terrestrial Relations Observatory (STEREO) spacecraft.
These two solar space crafts have advanced space weather forecasting more than any other space craft and enabled warnings of threatening conditions posed by the Sun.
Senior curator for the National Air and Space Museum David Devorkin, Madhulika Guhathakurta, a heliophysicist at NASA headquarters will be participating in the discussion.
Media is also invited at the conference and can ask questions during the event.
